The goal of growth groups is to connect people to Christ and to each other. At our church there are many opportunities to join a small group. Some meet weekly, some meet for special studies, and some meet at private homes. We also have youth groups. Acts 2:42 says "They devoted themselves to apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer". Anyone is welcome to join in!

“In life and in death, Jesus’ words were powerful and meaningful. Despite the serious effort and increased pain required for Jesus to speak as he hung on the cross, Jesus spoke seven “final words”—statements that have much to teach us about Jesus, his Father, and ourselves. "What a difference a day makes. You hear people say that phrase all the time. It could not be truer than when talking about the last day of Jesus’ life. In 24 Hours That Changed the World, Adam Hamilton will help you experience and understand the significance of Jesus’ suffering and death like never before. He retraces the day that changed human history in his usual straightforward yet easy, conversational style that speaks to both long-time Christians and those who are simply curious about the story of Christ’s crucifixion. [The children's version will trace the final week of Jesus' life in age-appropriate language as they experience this study based on Adam Hamilton's acclaimed series..."] To learn more about this study for children and youth click on this link: 24HTCTW Abingdon Press

Welcome to the Men's Club area of the Belleville First United Methodist Church. We strive to be disciples for Christ. Every man of our church makes up our Men's Club. We do a lot of activities for the church and community. A couple of our big events are: a Garage Sale and a Father & Son/Daughter banquet. We have a tournament each month for anyone to participate in. We also have a Man of the Month, so that you can get to know the men of our church. Our Men's Club Outreach projects are great this year. We are currently seeking out many of our members and asking them to make a list of things teams of men can do, without charge, to help them around their homes. We have accomplished many projects and are continually adding more. These efforts allow our men an opportunity to get to know our congregation better, and to serve others with a Christian attitude.
