Growth Groups

The goal of growth groups is to connect people to Christ and to each other as we journey together along the Belleville First Spiritual Pathway.  There are many opportunities to join a small group.  Some meet weekly while others meet for special seasons, and there are both in person and virtual options.  We also have groups for youth and children.  Acts 2:42 says "They devoted themselves to apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer".  Everyone is welcome to participate!

SIGN UP NOW FOR GROWTH GROUPS!!!

Winter Greetings Church!!!  There is much going on in the life of the church this month.  We have started the year together as a congregation on a lifelong journey of discipleship in prayer to become more like Christ.  Pastor Mary’s Praying on Purpose sermon series helped us ponder how often we pray, how we pray, and helped us explore what more our prayer life might be.  This helped inspire us to participate in a prayer vigil and walk the BFUMC Spiritual Pathway step of Engaging God in Prayer.

Now we continue together with Christ as our center and we his extended family, compassionately sharing Jesus’ love with all people, as we take on our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  Help love to flourish this season by being the body of Christ.  One way you can do this is to join a Growth Group (small group) experience.  Growth Groups will start the week of February 20th with the following offerings:

Men's Ministries

Welcome to the Men's Club area of the Belleville First United Methodist Church. We strive to be disciples for Christ. Every man of our church makes up our Men's Club. We do a lot of activities for the church and community. A couple of our big events are: a Garage Sale and a Father & Son/Daughter banquet.  We have a tournament each month for anyone to participate in. We also have a Man of the Month, so that you can get to know the men of our church. Our Men's Club Outreach projects are great this year.  We are currently seeking out many of our members and asking them to make a list of things teams of men can do, without charge, to help them around their homes.  We have accomplished many projects and are continually adding more.  These efforts allow  our men an opportunity to get to know our congregation better, and to serve others with a Christian attitude.
